After taking some time out and doing some writing, studio work and engineering, amongst other things, Trevor was persuaded to get back into recording and performing and is currently working with Chase Encounter and doing what comes naturally. His songs are mostly about his life, experiences and feelings… From the heart………and it shows.
Chase Encounter are an exciting line-up of some of the musicians that Trevor has worked with over his time in and around the music business. The music is based around Trevor’s song writing and ‘Southern’ rock and country influences.
They are with out doubt a talented, powerful and exciting band. If you like strong rhythms and meaningful lyrics, they are what you’ve been looking for.

 An early review of the Southern Experience Band used the term “dawning on the Carolinas.” Well folks, with the release of the new CD “Where I’m From” the sun is up and shining brightly. Produced by Marshall Tucker Band alumni Tim Lawter, and joined on three of the songs by legendary Southern Rock icon Paul Hornsby this album definitely has the Southern Rock “Seal of Approval”.

A select group of fans recently heard an advance copy of the CD and of course the inevitable comparisons began; Atlanta Rhythm Section, Outlaws, Allman Brothers, Jason Aldean, The Black Crowes and even Gary Moore. The bottom line is over the last year they have developed their own distinctive style. Southern Experience is a group of real southern guys writing and playing the music they feel. They are an experience you do not want to miss.

Behind Inner Planets
Mike and Lou first joined up in 'The Window Room.' After that band ended in 2007, Lou continued on with other projects, including 'Strange Montgomery' and '11n2' It was within '11n2' that Lou met Dave. With the itch to create something new, Lou contacted Mike Fall 2009 about starting a new project. This is when Lou mentioned that the drummer in his previous project might be interested in playing in this yet-to-be-named project.
Rehearsals started that Fall and have continue into the Winter.
Shelby Bedzyk joined Inner Planets in March 2010 and greatly expands our ability to jam out.
Unfortunately, Dave Marley had competing time commitments and decided to leave Inner Planets and the end of September 2010. Dan Braun has joined us as Dave's replacement in November 2010.

The idea for forming the band came about around the end of 2007. Joel (the guitarist) approached Boots (the drummer) with the initial concept and he quickly agreed to come on board. G was asked to join and when he accepted the invitation the line up was complete. The band considered getting a second guitarist but it was quickly decided that this was not needed and could be detrimental for the sound, the band were looking to create. All three of the members had played together before as part of a larger band called Betamax so when they began to jam and write material things came together very quickly. At this point they were still without a name. Much thought was put into this and many names were suggested until a friend (mr green) of the band came up with something all the members liked. With its complete line up and a collection of original songs, Mr Spoon was born! The band has what could be described as a contemporary alternative rock style, all though there are many retro components also. The elements consist of a heavy overdriven lead rhythm guitar style, a driving and melodic bass and a hard yet intricate style that provides pace and flow. Over the top of this of this is Joel’s highly melodic vocals which lifts the music to a new level. All in all something greater than the sum of its parts is created. The band has many influences from many different types of music. They enjoy listening to dub, jazz, dance, punk, and classical just to mention a few as well as the contemporary and classical rock which is the predominant aspect of the music. All the musicians are highly competent and experienced and have been in numerous bands previous to this one. They have played live many times and enjoy doing so immensely and are always striving to perfect their performance. The band have now got more than an albums worth of material that is well rehearsed and ready to go and are writing new stuff all the time. If they were given the opportunity to put all their energy solely into their music they would be extremely prolific and would create many high quality tunes. They have currently been playing in Cardiff mainly at such venues as the Bar Fly and the Clwb Ifor Bach. They have also been doing a lot of home recording and have recently been into the studio(Dreamworld studios,pembrokeshire) to record a three track demo.
